It's really not up to Bernie. It's managements call. I don't want to see him go with another team. Bernie is a Yankee. It would be hard to imagine him wearing another teams uniform. The Yankees should have offered him a DH position. Offering him a minor league contract was kind of a slap in the face if you ask me.

There is no question that Bernie deserves to be on the Yankees roster considering everything he has done for the franchise since his first game in 1991. He has been nothing less than a class act and team player year in and year out. Brian Cashman however, feels the need to have three first basemen on the 25 man roster.

In all actuality Bernie should play for the Yankees this year as a fifth outfielder behind Melky.

Will He?

No.

Bernie was already turned down by Cashman and the Yankees, despite their respect for WIlliams, will not be brining him back this year.

If Bernie went to camp this year it would be outrageous. He batted 281 last year and was more clutch in the begining of the year then half the yankees. I think Bernie is more then justified in not returning, and i think that the yankess would have benefited more with him on the roster then with this all star team there trying to put together, cashman is and idiot, Its not going to happen but i hope to see Bernie on another team this year, kicking ***. ( This all came from a yankee fan)

Bernie Williams should tell the Yankees to stuff it!! After all he has done for that team, they disrespected him. I hope he joins another team like the Red Sox where he would be welcomed and would be able to punish the Yankees on the field and at bat for their disloyalty to him.

Chow!!

He should just retire. Bernie is looking for ''respect'', I give the guy credit but hes over 40 years old, we DONT need ''The Bernie'' in CF, hes old and we have Damon. He should just retire and be known to finish at the top rather then play until hes all washed out. Besides, the team doesnt want him, we dont want him.

Bernie is really having a hard time letting go of the game he loves so very much. But he must understand, all good this must come to an end.

It is a shame that the Yankees have no space for him I think he should shop himself around as a DH, he still has a few years left in him as a DH, Hell look at Mike Pizza he can play for at least 3-4 more years.

he should play for them but they dont want him so he should retire. i doubt he will because he still has some gas in the tank. he should go to a team that actually respects veterans and wants them not only for their numbers but also for their clubhouse leadership. im a yankee fan and want to see bernie back but it aint happening so....

this could be an undemanding one. If the worldwide gets too warm, we've shown that we are able to stay to tell the story it because of the fact the "Cradles of Civilization" have been in warm, dry areas. If the worldwide gets chilly, then we've already shown that we are able to stand up to ice an prolonged time, and that's devoid of any "extreme" technologies. If the worldwide gets overpopulated, it rather is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i don't think of we ought to rigidity approximately surviving the subsequent one hundred years. the real question is the thank you to we keep the subsequent one hundred years from growing to be the subsequent dark Age.

I think Bernie should sign a one year deal with the Red Sox and stick it to the Skankees.
