Usually it's recommended that you seek help after one year of actively trying to get pregnant without any success (most healthy couples apparently get pregnant within the first 6 months). There are many different reasons why some women find it harder to get pregnant than others... don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about it. :-)

This is too big a question - there are many causes of infertility, both on the male and female sides. Really, you only know you're infertile when you try to have children, there's nothing magical you can do in advance to find out if you ca have children - unless, of course, you have a prediagnosed condition and you have been told that your fertility will be compromised.

There is no certain way to know without going to see a doctor and having certain tests performed. There are many reasons/causes for infertility.

If you are trying to conceive, has it been over a year. If it has been longer than one year that you have been able to conceive after actively pursuing it...then you should have cause for concern and would warrant a visit to your gyno for some tests and possible referral to a fertility specialist to pin point the problem and figure a plan of action to rectify the issue, or go at if from a different angle in hopes that you can get pregnant! Good luck!

You know when you are infertile when you have been trying for a baby for a year to eighteen months with no sucess. You would be sent for tests
