how can good people not stop darfur? how can good people allow animals to vanish from the face of the earth?how can good people not help the homeless,the hungry,the sick,the insane. if you can answer these than you understand nothing about people is ever straight forward. instead of a straight highway you get a old two lane back country road that twists and turns. for all of us that want good on earth there seems to be a hundred lazy,indifferent,scared,crazy people that wont do good. morality is doing what your grandmother would have been proud of. most people have yet to learn this lesson.

Food can be an addiction, like alcohol or drugs. In addition, "fat people"could also have physical problems causing their bodies not to process foods correctly, Thyroid conditions, drugs they need to stay healthy or to have children can also cause weight to be put on.
How can smokers light up knowing anyone who lives with them or even walks past or near them now has an increased chance of getting cancer.
Some people are selfish, some are stupid, but don;t lump all the fat people together...Although I'm not sure how super sizing their fries or not could help starving people

Many people who are overweight or grossly obese are that way because of emotional eating. I confess that I'm very obese and when I see these clips of children on TV in other countries that are starving I feel bad for them and would love to do something to help them. What can I do? By cutting down on my food intake is not going to help these children, unfortunately.
Because of my obesity I can't stand for very long, otherwise I would help out at a food kitchen here in my own city, because that is the best place to start. Here in our own country. I'm not putting down the countries that need our help, but there are countries that could help themselves, but because of greed refuse to do so.
Not every fat person is without a heart. We feel for these children also. Don't generalize and put us all in a stereotype.

Wow. I don't really have an answer the question just stood out. But I can bullshit and say maybe sometimes they don't realize they are overeating and are just eating what they eat normally or until full. And not all peope who are overweight overeat. One of my co-workers is overweight and she does not eat alot as a matter of fact she eats just as much as a slimmer person she says she just can't lose the weight fast.

Yeah, do they not see themselves growing to the size of 3 people? Honestly, these walrus impersonators need to CONTROL themselves. And you see those damn commercials that they are like 'it is not your fault'...YES IT IS! Take some damn responsibility!
