no it's not nesc to wait, but FYI you need to exfoliate your body before applying a self-tanner, and the self tanners do have a very short life span. If you're still interested in the sunless tanning talk to your tanning center re the Mystic spray on tan, they last abbout 2-3 weeks and are about $40

It doesn't make a difference, the self-tanner won't affect your tan in a tanning bed. Have you tried Tan-towel brand? I don't know where you live, but go to tantowel.com , you can see if they sell it where you live. It works really well because its just like a big wipe and doesn't really smell gross like other self tanners. I've even done it before I go into work and you cannot tell. Most self tanners don't last more than 5 days, that's standard.

Hi there. No need to wait, the self tanner will not affect the tan you get at the tanning bed. That is just a dye on your skin. In fact the lotion the (excellent) owner of my tanning salon reccomends most highly is one with sunless tanner in it!
Be sure to use a lotion at the tanning salon made for tanning beds. These really help jumpstart your tan and get color more quickly
Boy I feel ya on the need to tan, so sick of winter!

i mixed self tanners and tanning beds last year and ended up all polka-dotted, i would say exfoliate every day till all the self tanner is gone, wait a day or two then go tanning.

What is wrong with the color of your skin? Why are white people always trying to look darker than they are. I am a white person and never see the need to look darker. The only thing it shows is the level of sun damage you are getting. I have seen many people with rubbery skin in their old age because they used tanning beds/and were out in the sun too much. Wake up and smell the coffee. Sun can kill. Tanning lotions are nasty looking and NEVER look natural.

try gradual tanner...you put it on every day and one week gradually looks like one application of regular self tanner. it only does a little bit each time so you don't have to worry about streaks. I use bath and body works gradual tanner. it works great and has SPF 15

SORRY TANNING IS OUT OF THE QUESTION... IF SKIN CANCER DOES NOT SCARE YOU HOW ABOUT THIS...
HYPER PIGMENTATION (DARK SPOTS) WRINKLES, LOSS OF FIRMNESS. KEEP USING YOUR SELF TANNER EXFOLIATE WELL BEFORE RE APPLYING WITH BODY SCRUBS OR BRUSHES ALSO ON DRY SKIN TRY MIXING A LITTLE PLAIN MOISTERISER WITH TANNER CREAM TO GIVE A NATURAL LOOK.

You should wait until it fades. Anything like that will augment a tan from a tanning bed.
