Perhaps he is just trying to be a jerk so he can piss you off. Keep persisting with the papers. If he refuses to sign them, you can go to the courthouse, explain the situation, and they can help you. There are many situations in which one spouse refuses to sign the papers, and the divorce gets completed anyway.

I believe you will have to depart him. Neighbors with an EX-spouse is just not typical and a few matters could arise out of that. It also seems fishy to me that she can't speak to her boyfriend about these issues. I was once in the same hindrance as you, and you realize what I got worn out of feeling second best or final to be involved about. The question now could be: when are you going to get worn out of coming 2nd to each person else? It took me one and a half of years. How long is it going to take you? The fact is that he will on no account and might by no means fail to remember her seeing that she had his infants.

Why do you expect your ex husband to fill out the papers - fill them out yourself.

Why do you expect your ex husband to take the papers to court - take them to the court yourself.

I am afraid that my words will sound harsh, but I don't know how else to phrase it. You just need to be proactive about your life and forget about depending on your ex husband. he does not respect you or care about your - that is obvious from the fact that he cheated on you and has moved on emotionally - he has someone else in his life that he is interested in pleasing. Take charge of your life and please yourself - don't wait for him. Don't be mad at him for not taking care of things. Take matters into your own hands and take care of things yourself. If YOU want the marriage over, then end it. Don't wait for him to take responsibility to get things finalized. Obviously, he doesn't give much credit to paperwork. You had a marriage license and that didn't keep him from straying.

Why are you waiting for him to do it? You can do it too and without his signature or permission either. Although he has you on the grounds of adultery, but then it really doesnt matter here now. So no sense in waiting for him if you reall want to get moving on. Just do it

Simple. Send it certified mail. He has to sign it. And you know he's got it. That doesn't work, and the marriage isn't a bitter one, divorce lawyers can do it for cheap. Guarantee a lawyer knowing his home address will be enough incentive for him to sign on a couple of lines. Good luck!

I bet if you gave him another chance he would take it.Nevertheless, if YOU want the divorce so bad, why dont YOU go get one? They dont cost you anymore than they do him.By the way, you ARE still tied to him until that divorce is finalized.

What state are you from? Here in CA you can go ahead with things yourself-you don't have to wait for him to finish what you started. Think about it.
