It depends on your skin color and the undertones in your skin. I wear blue eyeshadow and blue eyeliner and I get compliments when I do. If you want to look natural, stick with browns and golds. Bronze also looks good. Experiment until you find a look that you like. It's important you pay attention to the undertones of your skin, not just the fact that you're black. Good luck.

MAC, Fashion Fair, & Mary Kay all have makeup for brown skin tones. You CAN wear blue or green eyeshadow, but you have to balance it out with a neutral color that is close to your skin tone. I suggest visiting a makeup counter in a department store or having a Mary Kay or Avon consultant apply your makeup during a session so that you can try different colors. They'll help you make a decision on what accentuates your features best.

I think a black mascara with maybe a sparkly ivory, or a nice brown eyeshadow with a brown eyeliner. I think black would pop too much. For a blush you could try a brown one with some sparkle to make it stand out a little but still look natural. Hope this helps.

No blues or wild colors that pop on your skin tone too much.
My suggestion is wear very earthy browns, caramels, deep royal purples, and colors that blend well with the colors I already listed.
Also, you can use some sort of shimmery powder as well on your lids to make the eyeshadow(makeup) pop.
Dont wear too light of blush either, it just doesn't look right.

Depending on how dark brown your skin is, use a light tan if it's darker, but if it's lighter, use a misty white of green. Go with the natural colors. never use blue!!!!!!! (im talking about eyeshadow, by the way!!!)

You can find eyeshadow but it's like a shine eye shadow and it doesn't sound natural but it looks like it is and also some light lip gloss would be good
