I know you are supposed to be on "pelvic rest" for 2 weeks which means no intercourse. However, is an orgasm allowed? I'm sorry. I hope I don't offend anyone. It's an honest question.

I really wouldn't to anything to stimulate the uterus. It's really not worth risking, and just think how good it will be in 2 weeks? :) And I would Never put anything Foreign like a Dildo after IVF!

Orgasm After Ivf

I think in reality it doesn't matter, but my doctor and many others say not to have an orgasm during the 2 week wait. They say it could impede implantation, although I personally think the increased blood flow would be good. I have done 3 IVFs and had orgasms during all of them, and I finally got PG on IVF #3, so you can have one and get PG. I would say try to hold off, but if it happens while you sleep or something, it isn't a big deal. Good luck during the wait!

From what I've heard you shouldn't for 2 weeks. Better to be safe than sorry....especially with the ups and downs that can come with IVF. Orgasm causes contractions.... I'd say not worth the risk.....GOOD LUCK!!!

WOW ask your doctor but unless you use a huge dildo I would just use clitoral stimulation so you can still orgasm without putting anything in your vagina
