Most commericals are untruthful anyways, like those AXE commericals, I'm not gonna throw myself on some man b/c he is wearing a certain type of cologne...

why shouldn't they? A lot of them DO live in upper class half million dollar homes. Are you trying to say that only whites have that privilege? Maybe they should show more whites living in the hills, in broken down shacks or trailer parks, like they really do. Would that make you feel better, and I don't think your numbers are correct, 86%?

Many Blacks and Latinos are very wealthy and live in multi-million dollar homes. At the same time a great percentages of Anglos are very poor and live in old dilapidated houses and trailer parks. Commercials are based on ideals and that is the reason why we don't show their reality in commercials as well.

Funny how someone will imply reality is racist. The funny part is, the actors in the said commercials are usually unemployed out of work actors renting a room in a low income/high crime neighborhood drug area, and presented in the adverts as a high class respectable educated illusion, fraudulating the general public with propaganda. lol

the production companies are just trying to cover all the bases so they don't get sued. it has become that you cannot accurately depict the social climate on television with out getting sued.
