Oh that is easy! Well at least for me, it is saying 2 x 5 cubed.
Which is 125 x2= 250!

^ means that the number next to it is in superscript format. Superscript format shows the letters/ numbers in smaller size and is positioned a little higher than the other numbers/letters. Check it out in Microsoft word. Type some normal characters before anything else. Then choose the option for FORMAT, then choose fonts. Check the box which says superscript and try typing a few characters.
If the 3 is in superscript format then the equation would read out as 2 multiplied by 5 to the third power.

to the xth power--in this case, to the 3rd power. so that means 5 to the third power, or 5*5*5=125. the ^ is called a caret.
so the equation is 2*125
