I'm a mother of 3 sons aged 10, 14, & 15, who in the past year have become fans...so I watch wrestling matches with them, I go with them to watch the pay per views at a friends. But I'm kinda embarassed i watch, a guilty pleasure i guess. Do you have friends who are fans too.?

When I was 9 or 10 years old; wrestling was my favourite thing in the world. Hulk Hogan was my hero, I met Andre The Giant and Big John Stud and it was the best thing to happen. I had the wresting ring set, complete with Jesse The Body, Macho Man and Junk Yard Dog dolls...among many others.
I haven't watched wrestling in about 20 years, but I have friends my age that do watch it...one of them watches it a lot. There is an opinion of wrestling fans being stupid because it's all fake, the acting is silly etc.
I think that no matter what you do for entertainment, (I like watching hockey) it's a matter of personal preference. Some like soccer, some like playing poker online, some like Yahoo Answers.......to each their own I say. If you have something that you enjoy doing, seeing, watching etc., then all the power to you and who cares what other people think really?

Yup. Mostly all of my friends are wwe fans. We have all been fans for quite awhile. I've been a fan since the beginning of the attitude era. Which was a way better time than now. Now you have Cena vs Edge. During the attitude era you had Rock vs Austin. You have to watch TNA wrestling too if you already don't. They have alot of superstars that used to be in WWE & WCW.

I'm 19 years old and am damn proud to be a wrestling fan, soon to be pro wrestler ...hopefully, if everything goes right. I have a lot of friends who are wrestling fans, and those who aren't ... well I just tell them to watch WWE Raw and they get hooked..lol.. Liking wrestling is nothing to be ashamed about. Everybody has their hobbies, nothing wrong with that.

I just turned 16 this month. None of my friends like wrestling. I am obsessed with WWE. It is nothing to be embarassed about.

Sure do! I love it, and have never once been embarrassed or ashamed of being a fan. For that matter, I have never really given much thought to what anyone thinks of me, I like who I am so what does it matter.

well i am very pretty (not to be cocky) and a guy will come up to me and will ask what i like ill tell him things and i say wrestling and then they get all like oh you do? r u sure? and its just ugh! then people are always making fun of you! and NO NONE OF MY FRIENDS AROUND HERE ARE FANS! THEY ALL HATE IT! THEY THINK ITS STUPID I WATCH IT THEY THINK ITS STUPID MICKIE JAMES IS MY IDOL THEY THINK ITS STUPID THT I WRESTLE AND THEY THINK ITS STUPID THAT WWE POSTERS AND PICTUERS COVER EVERY INCH OF EVEY WALL...MY PARENTS HATE IT MY FRIENDS HATE IT MY SISTERS HATE IT MY BROTHER HATES IT IM THE ONLY ONE! AND I NEVER HAVE ANYONE TO TALK ABOUT IT WITH! THATS WHY I COME HERE AND I WISH THT U PEOPLE WERE IN MY SCHOOL BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IM NORMAL HERE! at school and other places as soon as they find out i wrestle and i love wrestling they treat me diffrent...and i dont understand why.. i mean so what i love wwe more then my life itsself and so what i worship mickie james... get over it! but at the end of the day i think to myself well its what i enjoy doing and watching not what people want me to enjoy and watch.... u shouldent care what anyone thinks of u as hard as that is! but dont let people that think wwe sux bring u down! im 14 and have watched scince the day i was born! wrestling fan 14 years. but the weird thing is in 3rd and 4th grade alot of people likes wwe and i had alot of friends who were guys and they would come over and we would wrestle.... i rather play rough and do guy things then go shopping and talk on the phone for 4 hours! and we wpuld make matches and stuff and i guess its just not cool to like wwe but what ever u no? i wish my family liked wwe!
THE WORST PART IS WHEN I TELL THEM THT I WRESTLE AND GO TO WRESTLING SCHOOL AND WILL BE IN THE WWE ONEDAY! THATS WHAT REALLY MAKES ME FEEL WEIRD BECAUSE IDK BUT PEOPLE R JUST JERKS THEESE DAYS!

No reason to be embarrassed, it just an action fill soap opera. As long as you realize its just entertainment, people should leave you alone. If they still give you a hard time, you can tell them its better than American Idol!
