At first I hated illegal immigrants but after watching the 30 days episode on illegal immigration I have to say I'm perfectly fine with Mexicans choosing anyway they can to come into the USA. A lot of them don't have sponsors and everyone knows the jobs in Mexico suck and the governments don't help the people and it's a poor country and a lot of the Mexicans don't have the money to get a green card and all the legal documents and they are just trying to feed their families like everyone else in the world.

It is a huge problem that nobody wants to solve because there are so many who benefit from it and it could actually destroy a state's economy according to that article I've read. As far as I'm concerned it should just be treated as a violation and then a punishment given. There should be no pardon just because someone lived here for some years already. Mind you, politicians change every so often and so the new band of vote-greedy ones would argue about it endlessly and before you know it, another 5 years passed with an impasse on an illegal immigration bill thus more and more people would fit in the category for pardon.

It's illegal and it's wrong, not to mention horridly unfair for those who take the time and effort to come here legally.
It really mucks up the entire economy. No really, they are closing down emergency rooms because illegals get helped and can't pay. Illegal Aliens are actually the reason hospital costs are so high, but now they can't even cope with the numbers.
I think illegal immigrants should be deported and prevented from coming in again for a long time.

i think its bullshit that the come here illegally and work with out paying taxes and also in the process take the oppertunity from a legal citizen or immagrant to have a job not only that the drive the labor pay rate down because shady employers can take advantage of them and get away with paying less than the job is worth then if the get in trouble break the law or anything like that can leave the country and not face penaltys just like those kids from california that committed murder and went back to mexico the parents cant even get justice for there loss of family cause mexico wont give them up

I have no problem with legal immigration, but I don't agree with illegal immigration because it is a crime. If people want to come to this country, they should go through the proper procedures to achieve that.

It's illegal, and it's to be expected with so much poverty in Mexico and South America.
My grandfather left Germany in 1933 and immigrated legally to the U.S. I think the legal immigration process should always be followed, and those here illegally deported.
I think a guest worker program might work, And we should work with our neighbor countries to improve their economies.

Kick them out. Even illegal English speaking Canadians. I work with two brothers from the Philipines, and they said it took them 5-10 years to get here, and they know fluent English! Not that I have anything against any other language, especially an European Language.

I don't understand why the ones here illegally can't go through legal channels? My family has been here for many generations, but I have friends from Nigeria and they went through legal channels, now the whole family is here (Dad was the last to get here), they are working, they bought a house and can't wait to be citizens.

Treat it like a crime (as most other illegal activities are).
This involves punishing both the immigrant and the Americans who hire them.

Illegal aliens are the latest scape goats. We need someone to blame all of the problems of society on. It changes every few decades - the Irish, the blacks, now the Mexicans.
