i douched before i found out i was pregnant could that effect my baby..............i just found out today and its too late to call my doc. or make app......so please help cause im so scared right now..............i just so worried i could have cause some type pf birth defect

It won't cause a birth defect. IF you just found out today then you will be fine. I am surprised that the egg implanted but it did so congrats.
The only thing it could have done was wash the egg away!
You do need to call your doctors though right away and make an appt to start your prenatal care, when you call to make your appt just tell them that you douched before you found out you were pregnant and they will give you a good MEDICAL answer.

you didnt know, and if you just found out your pregnant they baby isnt formed yet. you should be fine. people drink and smoke and than find out they are pregnant and quit and the baby is fine. i went to a welcome home soldiers party on a sat night, and drank. Found out monday i was pregnant. Doc said i would be fine!

What's done is done, can't change it now. But you can't douche while pregnant,and in fact they say you should NEVER douche as it's unnessary and can cause infections.

I definately wouldn't do it again but as soon as you are pregnant your cervix closes off so there should be no way that anything got up there to the baby.
