How to rake up leaves? Oh come on....
Ok, maybe you want some alternatives, no problemo...
Aside from raking, you can run em over with a lawnmower, blow them away using a leaf blower or if the leaf blower can convert to a vacuum.... well you get the picture. If you are someone looking for an easier way to do something thats already easy enough, no dice. Its like asking if there is an easier way of wiping.

Well first, you get a rake. And then you bend over slightly with the prongs facing downward, and in motions from a few feet out from your body, bring the rake back toward you. Continue to do this as you make a pattern side by side, raking the leaves into a pile. Then when you are finished, decide what you want to do with the leaves.

I have a blower, but have not used it for a couple years. I rake them by hand into piles, then rake the piles onto a plastic tarp (available at hardware stores). The tarps have grommets along the sides. Tie a piece of cord to a couple of the grommets, and then you'll be able to drag the loaded tarp wherever you want....The tarp I use is about 9 x 12 ft. It will hold a lot of leaves, but is still easy to drag....

If you really want to rake I've seen people lay down the big blue plastic tarps and rake the leaves on top of that then gather up the tarp and take it to where ever you want and dump them out and start over. Some municipalities will pick them up.

Go over them with the lawnmower with the bagging attachment. Mows your lawn and bags the leaves at the same time! What could be easier? Don't have a mower? Get a neighbor kid to do it for $10.

the best way to get rid of the leaves and help your yard is to mow over them...over and over until the are mulched up really well....this will actually help to get rid of leaves and fertilize your lawn at the same time ,it is very good for the soil ......I know people just hate leaves on their yard..but once they are mulched up they are not really noticeable and it really don't take them long for them to deteriorate and be gone...the soil in your yard will become richer for it..

a leaf blower can be hard to use on wet leafs.use your lawn mower mow into rows.a mulching mower workes better, use as a mulch in your garden or in a compost pile.
