I was just wonderin how hard it was to replace the oxygen sensor in a 97 ford explorer

1. Buy a oxygen sensor socket

2. Consult a service manual for the location(s) of the sensor(s). If equipped with more than 1 — O2 Sensor, replace all of them.

it depends on if your sensor mounted on your exause manifold like mine was huh pay attention to your sensor if it is frozen in there it will be tough and sometimes does not want to come out use anti seize when putting it back in

Special socket or box end wrench.Unplug first.
