Many people who updated actually ruined their computer, and had to re build the entire system. Just a warning.
Most of us actually listen to the US CERT and DHS warnings, and get and use either Opera, or Mozilla Firefox. They help keep us safe from virus, too. http://mozilla.org and http://getfirefox.com
You'll have to google for Opera.
Also, http://pclinuxos.com runs in the CD, and loads in RAM, and runs all those plus more, like 1900 games, files, programs...

microsoft website and look for downloads and click on IE7 updgrade.

www.microsoft.com and find downloads and upgrades.. Until I upgraded mine to 7.0, it kept nagging me to do so.
