there is testosterone out there that you can get put into your bodies (not from all doctors but some). Would any of you girls be interested in having someadditional testosterone added to your bodies?

By the way, the injection doesn't cause you to get deep voices or grow extra hairs (unlike the items found in steroids).

This testeosterone injection boosts confidence and aggression and i suppose may increase strength too.

Girls would you ever consider trying this and if so, what reason would you do it for personally?`

To clarify, i have no reason to think girls need this shot to gain confidence or aggression, i just mean because this shot is meant to aid many women who work in predominantly male-dominated fields with the aggressive drive to succeed in these fields. I have no doubt in my mind with or without these shots women would suceed or not, thats down to the individual regardless what their gender is

I saw a TV show about it maybe 2 years ago and female politicians and lawyers were taking the shot and as already stated some younger women took it to aid their sex drive and all round strength

I don't think aggression is something to obtain and i don't have it on a pedestal at all. It is not necessarily key to suceeding but in some jobs, it is a helpful tool to utilise to make it

I know of women who are more aggressive than men and some who are more timid.

My point really is in the question of 'would' you try a shot in anyway to positively affect your life (should you need any) or not?

I probably wouldnt take it because im quite confident and can be quite agressive too; i reckon that if i were to take it these bits of my personality would be exaggerated. and i don't think i need that.

Your question is intriguing, and I wonder what you think about women and why you wonder why we'd be interested. By the way, this post isn't meant to be an attack, I'm really just curious about your motives.

You say testosterone increases confidence and aggression, and ask if we'd want to take it. The way you phrased this question, you are implying two things with that comment. First, that aggression and confidence are both desirable traits that everyone should strive for. Second, you imply that women inherently lack both aggression and confidence, and you seem to think we can make up for this shortcoming with a testosterone shot.

What I'm wondering is why you think that aggression is a goal, that the fact that women in general are less aggressive is a shortcoming, and why you believe that women are less confident. It's true, we are more open about your confidence issues, but that's because we tend to express ourselves better - we're sterotypically communicators. But I know for a fact there are just as many insecure men out there.

Since I know plenty of aggressive, confident women (myself included), and I don't think women being less so than men is a shortcoming, my answer would be no, I'm not interested.

However, there is some scientific evidence supporting testosterone as a way to increase the sex drive. I think many women would be interested in that, in low levels to combat the sex drive lessening effects of birth control.

I've had the shot twice. It's helps the low sex drive. My husband loves it. Before the shot I could care less about sex. He was lucky to get it once a week. Now it's at least 3 times a week

Hell no. Why would i want to have all that male **** inside my body? There's enough testostorone in this house as it is.
I'd hate to be a man. But having said that, us women do have a degree of this hormone in our bodies. Some more than others.
A friend of mine has more than her fair share and actually beats the crap out of men during sex. She is extremely masculine.

I can't be bothered to read everuythng you have written. Firstly, girls taking testosterone would grow mopre hair, particularly facially, and there would be other changes. Why would any woman, unless she would prefer to be a man, want more testosterone?
