some do some don't i would call and ask. They might want a percentage down. also call the social security office to see if the person has any death benefits coming to them. If the person is a veteran call the local veteran's office the veteran's administration will pay for the whole funeral( with a gun solute) also DONT BUY THE CASKET OR URN FROM THE FUNERAL HOME go to the yellow pages look up discount caskets and buy directly from the factory you will save at least 50 percent. The funeral home HAS TO ACCEPT the casket that you buy. Don't get suckered into a large pricey funeral keep it simple say a few nice words and have a 'respectable" service. Remember the person is gone he or she really doesn't care if their casket is trimmed in silk. Finally say no to flowers. The only person that is happy about the flowers is the florist. Have people donate the money to a good charity or start a college fund for a child. Hope this helps!!

All funeral homes will take payments on a pre-need basis (paying in advance) but fewer and fewer will take payments on an at-need funeral. People just won't make the payments anymore and there is nothing to repossess.

It is best to not commit to more than you can afford. Use cremation if you need the lowest possible cost. Shop around. Don't assume that "discount" casket stores sell for less. Most are just selling cheap caskets and any funeral home can also supply cheap caskets. I have never seen a casket manufacturer that will sell direct. There is always a middle-man and many of them are not reputable.

to not be the devil's advise, yet funeral administrators are human too and we make blunders in basic terms like each and every person else. yet suing them is what is going to delay your psychological grief, not them forgetting to reserve the grave. This sounds like a appropriate thank you to make some greater effective dollars. I understand they did not fo their pastime, yet i've got confidence particular your nephew replaced into in the floor the very next day. it particularly is unhappy to unquestionably make funds off of this. They goofed, they fixed it, bypass away nicely sufficient on my own. Why is usa so damn sue-happy?
