How come human babies are always ugly, smelly, noisy and obnoxious?

Wow...it's nice to see not everyone in this world thinks human babies are cute and wonderful. There are so few babies I have seen that I really thought were cute. Where, unless it is like a sphinx cat or a chinese crested dog, puppies and kittens are almost all adorable!!

I think all babies, no matter the species are noisy and smelly. They can't really be obnoxious, they don't know any better. They only way they can communicate is to cry and scream to get attention, but it certainly is annoying when the parents don't know enough to take the screaming brat outta the theatre or restaurant or wherever and stop disrupting everyone else! In a baby, thats not the baby's fault, it's the parents.

I don't know the scientific reason for it however!

babies can be cute but I know what you mean. Having bred baby guinea pigs & foals, they always come out looking gorgeous - probably something to do with the fact that they are fluffy. Baby animals also have the advantage of having their mother to look after them & they rarely cause humans to have sleepless nights the way human babies can. We also don't understand the noises that most animals make so what might sound to the baby animals mother like a demanding child just sounds cute to us!

First of all all babies come out looking nasty covered in something either green fluid or blood. Until the can act on their own all babies can be smelly and need help from Parents humans get diapers changed, animals get licked from mother. ALL babies cry when hungry or uncomfortable. But when they are Happy, clean and well fed....... They are ALL cute(Human and Animal).

As for being obnoxious...... babies are not capable of being obnoxious..... Only poorly educated humans who like to use big words like obnoxious and don't even know what it means.....Get a dictionary.!!!!

Human babies are definately not ugly, smelly, noisy or obnoious.

I had 3 and can say that didn't apply to any one of mine.if that what you think then you should stick to little fluffy kittens who pee all over the house and scratch the furniture

Well, some baby animals are NOT cute when they are born. In fact, some, like mice, are way grosser then we are! Others, like fawns and coyote pups, they're cuter because they have fur and they make more compatible noises (sometimes). But then, they can be smelly, noisey, and ugly. It just depends on the critter.

Ok.. you obviously haven't seen dogs or cats born.. The parent of the animal licks them clean..

humans.. poop what you feed them . if you breast fed it doesn't stink. And if you were comfy in a warm place and then someone pushed you out in the cold with alot of noise and lights.. You would complain and get obnoxious too.
