Um- liberal isn't EXACTLY government title, per se. I think that it's more of a personal mindset. Whether you're more liberal concerning a specific government, or more conservative. As for Communists and Socialists- well, Communism is the idea that the government can control all things necessary for sustenance of its people. Meaning that it dictates which jobs people work, how many crops are grown, how the economy works, that sort of thing. Except don't forget, REAL Communism, none of this Soviet Union stuff works for the absolute betterment of its citizens. The Soviet Union, on the other hand, was a Police State. Meaning that it controlled its citizens in the same sense of Communism, but also it its own, secret and selfish agendas.
Socialism is the a bit more confusing for me- I think it's about a more hands-off affair on the government parts, and citizens are more free, but there is national healthcare, things like that. MUCH more democratic than say, the US.
