I have a 1993 nissan maxima with two front tires (the front tires) the back tires are in good condition less then 30,000 miles on them. I was wondering if it was ok to buy 2 brand new tires and put them on the front or if i should put the ones from the back on the front and put new ones on the back or if i shouldnt do it at all, i dont really have the money to put 4 new ones on.

put the 2 new ones on the front as those are your traction tires, you should get the car lined up also at this time.

I would put the new ones on the front and then when those get worn down rotate them since the back ones are in good shape. The front tires wear out the fastest. Make sure you get them balanced!

This depends on the cause of your tire wear. Your front tires are very important for traction and breaking if you are driving a front wheeler as it appears. the trick is always make sure that your suspension and alignment are up to notch as they are the cause of tire wear. So make sure you fix that before even putting on new tires.
My advice is, always change the whole set at the same time, that's for your safety and a dollar saving. So wait and budget for your car to get it road worthy to avoid disappointments......remember your cars condition is for the safety of every motorist and pedestrian not to forget yourself. happy driving.....

Especially on a front wheel drive car.Always put the best tires on the front! so if you do need two new tires put um on the front.Any good tire shop should tell you this. Happy motoring.
