There are a lot of them:
"Love Stinks"--J. Geils Band
"Poison"--Alice Cooper
"Love Bites"--Def Leppard
"Every Rose Has Its Thorn"--Poison
"Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin' "--Journey
"Love Hurts"--Nazareth (how the hell does he get such a high range??)
"I Hate Everything About You"--Ugly Kid Joe
"What It Takes"--Aerosmith
"My Immortal"--Evanescence (even the new school gets heartbroken)
Does that help?

Oh man, there are so many, it would fill a hundred thousand iPods....
Have you heard about "the blues?" It's an entire genre of how love sucks.
Well, the rock song I thought of was "Love Stinks" which is really, really old but it should come back. It just says it all...

You Never Know by Immortal Technique, at first you think he is talking about the beauty of love, but it all turns south very quick, and is a really powerful song,

hmmm the obvious answer is "Love Stinks", but not the J Geils version. I like Adam Sandler's version from The Wedding Singer.
