So I made a smart aleck remark and this girl looked me right in the eye, put her hand on her hip, and said "oh no you DITTEN!"
While she did this, her neck moved strangely. I almost wanted to get her a cervical collar.
What is a ditten? I'm confused.

LOL. I can just picture that scenario. She was telling you that you possess a pulchritudinous amount of nerve and moxie. So much so that she is in utter disbelief and finds no credibility in your opinion on the matter at hand.

It is slang for oh no you didn't..
It is used mainly when someone insults somebody else.
example:
Oh no you did not just say that to me...etc

well it's street slang. like if someone was to call you a ***** or say something about your mom, then you'd say, "Oh no you ditten!" (oh no you didn't)
