I will give you the skinny
Clinton, Obama, and Edwards are far left liberals. They are for bigger government, more taxes, and talking to our enemies
McCain is for himself. Whatever he can do to win is what he does. The problem is the Republican base hates him
Guiliani is a known name. He is pro-abortion, pro-some gun control, pro-amnesty for illegals. He understands what originalist judges are and will appoint them
Romney is a conservative. You can see his website on what he stands for.
Gingrich is a known conservative, which the party wants. He has not stated he is definitely in.
Tancredo and Duncan Hunter are great conservatives, but do not have the name recognition needed to win. This is too bad.

You probably won't ever know what they really stand for, many say they will do this and that, but when they are in office they really can't do anything without the help of everyone else.
After all you are only one person out of hundreds, so you can't pass any legislation on your own, you need a majority, so the majority has to side with your bill in order for it to pass.

The demos have no plan.....they are just running on time for a change....but have yet to spell anything out.....Repubs, so far have not heard a great deal on their platform...other than to get as far away from bush as they can.....just as Gore and Lieberman did when they were running......they did not want to be seen with Clinton, because we had had enough of him and his family.

Its true that each site is a little different and they word things differently. So you can definitely get a skewed view of a person's position.
