If you think there isn't, tnen you are wrong. Astronomers discovered three more planets, they havn't named the tenth planet yet because they haven't voted for the best name. Since it's the tenth planet, they thought maybe they should name it planet X or Deci or Deca.

There are no planets in our solar system besides the eight we already know about. On the other hand, we have discovered more than 200 planets outside our solar system. See link below.

Beyond the TNO (or "dwarf planet") Pluto are Sedna (which is bigger than Pluto), Quoaor, Varuna, Pluto's main moon Charon, and other objects that qualify as "dwarf" planets. These are not planets, however.

Actualy in our on system there are only 8 planets. Pluto was changed from planet status to an astroid status just a few months ago. Beyond pluto there are not one but two more objects that have taken up orbit around our sun. Making it a total of 11 not 10. Now were are these things coming from and why haven't we seen them before? Simple, far beyond pluto is another astroid belt these objects are being pulled in and taking up orbit around our sun. It is believed that this was Pluto's origin. They always said there was alot of trash in space.

Oh yes, Tons and tons of them. In our solar sytem the finding of so many bodies beyond the ploto orbit, of such a massive size, sparkled the debate that got pluto out of the category of planet. That doesn't mean the aren't likely to find a huge body out there and name it a planet.
Outside the solar sytem.. welll. they go by the hundred. Check the lik below:

they actually find three Planets when Planet x was found and that is when it was determined that a planet must be a certain mass to be called a planet. That is why Pluto is no longer a planet.

Well we have seen more than 9 planets. We see "these objects" as more dwarf planets. We have one called eris and one called iris.We don't have the technology to go beyond Charon (Pluto's moon.)
