Where I live we have to wear a motorcycle helmet and most people wear bike helmets. I wear both.

Yes, when I ride my motorcycle I always put my helmet on. I did have a motorcycle accident once, and the helmet probably saved me from at least a concussion, maybe worse.

On a bicycle, no. On a motorcycle, yes,
because my state laws require it. If my
state laws did not require it, I'm not all too
sure that I would wear it. The way I see it,
you have the same chance of busting your
head open, after being hit by a bus walking in front of your house, or busting your head open after landing on it, during a plane crash. One
very important detail to remember though: helmets, can, indeed... keep the bugs out of
your eyes and mouth!

Can't ride anymore, damn radiation therapy screwed with my sense of balance. But I always wore a helmut.

Ever since I got hit by a seagull. I realized I'd always wear one. I was wearing one then too. Good thing too. As it was, his beak went through the bubble at 60MPH and that coulda been my eye. As it was, I got a bloody nose and a neck sprain.

no, i always ride my this guy's bike from my band and no-one ever has an extra helmet. we ride double most of the time, if something happens, it happens
