It depends how sad I am. I usually just cry and let it all out if the emotion is so intense. If I'm just melancholy music and my cats will always lighten up my day. Physical exertion like cleaning also makes me feel better especially when I see my apartment real clean, orderly and smelling good.

I like to be alone with a good comedy show or movie curled up on the couch with a blanket with a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream - I am an emotional eater! :-)

when I become depressed or just sad, I just try to keep busy doing something to keep my mind from wondering to more sad things, but in the end nothing makes me feel better, it just eventually goes away.

I think crying helps me.It lets me get rid of all my pain.Sleeping also helps,because I'm usually crying over a guy,and for those few hours I'm sleeping,hes not on my mind.Helps.
