first off a baby that is more then 20 wks is considered a "stillborn". Which means it is a fully developed baby, a miscarriage is not fully developed.
And the stay in the hospital depends on the birth. Just like if you were having a good delivery they send you home the next day, if you are bleeding heavy, over exhausted or had a very long labor {through the night} they will keep you two days.
I had a friend who had a SB at 29 wks and she had to stay only over night and she had a hard delivery but did not have any excessive bleeding.

All depends on how your labor went and if you had complications. I lost my baby at 22 weeks and 3 three days. I left the hospital in the care of husband roughly 7 hours after wards. I couldn't stand to be in the labor and delivery ward and my doctor understood. I believe you should talk to your doctor ahead of time and discuss your wishing so you are both on the same page if it should happen.

I would say only a couple of days like you would normally after giving birth to make sure things are ok.

It depends on how you had the miscarriage, but you really might want to seek a doctor for this info, not the Internet!

probably the same amount of time if you had a normal birth. Ask one of the nurses or a doctor.
