Today I just bought "Blood on the Tracks" from a small record store. Its my third Dylan album (Highway 61 and Blonde on Blonde) and I really like it. What are the best Dylan albums, and the one that I should get next?

I would recommend two- "Bringing it All Back Home" and
"Bootleg Series Vol. 4- 'The Royal Albert Hall' Concert." Both of these albums are from the period 1965-66 when he was expanding on the traditional idea of what "folk music" was about. Plus, the live concert features an electric set with the Band that kicks some serious butt!
His new album is pretty sweet, too!

My absolute favorite is the Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. The entire album is just him, a guitar, and a harmonica. And it contains some of the most beautiful songs every written.
