Yeah I still have some. I bought a pair of Dunlop Green Flash (retrotastic) for £10 a couple of weeks ago, and they have velcro fastenings, rather than laces. Ultimately better for taking your shoes off when drunk I find :-)

When I was a teenager, the only sneaker I wore was Kangaroo. I kept money in the little pocket, "just in case", just to keep my mother happy...lol. And, now, I have a pair of real comfortable sandals, made by Earth Shoe.

I am currently wearing Sketchers with the Velcro strap. They are a take off from a bicycle shoe. LOVE THEM!!!

I had velcro shoes once but when they touched each other they would stick and I would fall so I got rid of them bad boys

Yeah, in kindergarten I had a pair of Barney velcro shoes. Kids picked on me and I never wore them to school again! :/
