I've got a good pitching staff, and my 3rd outfielder is Magglio Ordonez. Should drop Randy and pick up Griffey from waivers, and should I make Griffey a starter?

Dont drop Randy Johnson. Randy is still going to win 15 games and get about 180 SO. Not many pitchers will do that. Griffey is too often injured. Stick with RJ

I would never start Griffey over Ordonez so I don't think you should drop Johnson for him. What if the old guy has another good year left in him? (Old guy as in Johnson, not Griffey.)

I think you should drop randy if you pitching staff is as good as you say it is but you should keep Griffey on the bench for the first week then see how he plays so atleast if hes on your team, he's yours

get griff. randy isn't the player he once was..and with a pretty bad lineup hitting for him he's not a lock to win 10 games let alone 15. he also is now playing in a hitters park...and he no longer throw 99 mph to off set the park he plays in.

griffey did hit 27 bombs last year while missing some time. i know i know i know he's always hurt..well one thing about havin a position player verus a pitcher. pitchers WILL HURT YOUR STATS WITH ON BAD OUTING..you could bench grif and wait til he get's hot..thus he won't hurt-if he never does anything you can always drop him and pick up some pitcher off the wire later in the season. fact of the matter is many good pitchers show up on the wire once the season starts.

clay hensley comes to mind as we speak. if you drop randy and pick up griffy ..if you have the space. you could go out and get clay for nothing on the wire. he's a starting pitcher who always qualifies at rp...he had great numbers for a so so padres team. look for him to improve on them numbers.

No because I think Johnson will have a better year since he is back with his last championship team. And Griffey? Why even have him on your team, he hasn't played close to a full season since he was a Mariner.

no way!!! griff always gets hurt. youd be better off trading randy for someone that can help your team. besides randy is in the NL again, his Ks will go up since he has pitchers for batters. his wins will go up since the NL is crappier than the AL. randy is still a good pitcher. if you wanna get rid of him, trade him not drop him.
