What an inviting question! A new meaning for me was achieved when I stepped on my front porch this afternoon and saw my 13 year old helping her 3year old sister ride her little tiny bike...and my 10 year old son was helping his 6 year old brother with his bike, and my daughter who is 8 and is struggling with learning to tie her shoes, getting help from her other sister. My husband and I have seven kids, and receive a lot of criticism for doing so. But looking out on the porch this afternoon, I think I developed a new meaning of what God says about children being such blessings. Thanks for posting the question...its been a joy to express it.

how the serious of love lives in emotions
and feelings even without being right there,
that just because two people are inaccessible
to one another love can spawn and fringe
on the Zeitgeist of balance with such magnitude
of enthusiasm and novelty, that distance does not
impose a Logos of woe but pushes emotions to
a philosophical realm to be free in feeling how
love can be a spirit of wanting ~

the passing of my mother 8 years ago and the passing of my father 6 months ago. My dad lost the will to live after my mom, his wife of 47 years, passed. He really tried, but he could not drum up the will to live for the sake of his children. He basically starved himself to death. These two incidents really brings home how short life really is and what not to take for granted, and to never live your life for someone else, because what will you do if that person is no longer there?

For a long time, work was my life - I now realize how unfortunate that was. Trying to change.
