Yes they offer you opportunities job and scholarship wise and you get the first choice of many other resources and opportunities before it's even readily available. You get to go to conventions regionally in your home state or around the area of where your state is and international convention which I've been to 3 of them. It does look good on a resume and to employers since PTK members also are good with helping each other with jobs so it's a great networking tool and I've made some really great friends in PTK.

It is an honor society I believe and I would say why not join. All of that looks good on your resume.
