I did the wrong degree, have to do the Graduate Diploma in Law conversion course first, will cost me £3600.

Then LPC, very hard I have heard and costs £9000, I am not rich so is it worth doing? also I have heard it is very hard to get firms to give you the 2 years training.

Has anyone here done it? What are your experiences?

I'm a 2nd yr LLB Law student and it is bloody hard getting a training contract. The only advice I can offer is that at my Uni (Leeds Metropolitan University) if you study as a undergrad or do your Grad Dip you get a discount off your LPC if you continue on at the same Law School. Thus the cost is only £5,600.

Plus many banks/building societies offer loans to fund your LPC such as Natwest or HSBC.

Good Luck!!!

No, try to get employment where you can get your degree funded by your employer.
