A black pen exploded on some yellow scrubs and it went into the dryer.

Since you already set the stain by putting it in the dryer, you'll need the big guns. InkAway by the makers of GooGone or rubbing or denatured alcohol will take it out. Put a terry towel underneath the area you are treating and flood it with either product. You may have to agitate it with a brush to fully work it out of the fiber. Be careful using hairspray, the old fashioned kind like AquaNet works best because they don't add oils like they do the more expensive brands. The oils used to prevent flyaway and frizzy hair just set the ink.

I am not sure this will work since you have already washed and dried the clothes, but for ink stains, you spray with hair spray and drop into washer immediately. One other tip; since you mentioned scrubs, I assume you may work in the medical field. For blood stains always saturate the stain with hydrogen peroxide and drop in. Good luck.
