how do i view my friends myspace comments even though his profile is set up not to display the comments? Is there a proxy i can use or something?

yes there is. On his myspace web page, go to the URL and highlight and copy the numbers at the end of the URL(I think it has maybe 9 numbers?). Then, click on a different profile, and click view their comments. Then once you are on his comments page, look at the 8-9 number that will be right next to friend ID in the url. Delete those numbers and put in the numbers of the person with the hidden comments....and that should work for you.

Then go to their profile and copy the the number after "friendid=" and then paste their Friend ID in the area provided and just hit 'scrape user.' Once you've done that, a bunch of links will come up. Just copy and paste the 'view comments' link into your browser, and you're all set.

The easiest way to do this is with the Firefox browser. Go to www.getfirefox.com to download it. Once you have it installed, go to the profile whose comments you want to see (assuming the whole profile is not set to private).
Go to View -> Page Style
Then select No Page Style

If you choose to leave your friend a comment, I believe it will allow you to see the comments being left by other people and it also allows you to "Delete My Comment" if you made a mistake with what you typed.

If your friend set up their page to not show comments, then there's a reason... so no one can see them!

its really easy. and i didnt see my method on the answers so here it goes:
go to their page.
you see their URL?
look for the wrods of "VIEWPROFILE"
once you find it.
delete profile.
and type comments.
press enter or go or the green button..
and their comments page will show :)

I dont think that there is a way to do that, unless you ask them nicely to show you them =)
