if your car has a electric fan, see if it kicks on when you turn on your a/c. if it doesn't than you have a bad fan motor or fan relay switch

i assume its not a faulty gauge seeing this is not the case youd have to check your water pump and thermostat , if your running an electrical fan for cooling make sure this is working

you said you changed the radiator (did you buy this new if not did you get second hand one flushed and treated )??

a good way to see if your radiator isnt in bad shape is removing the the water inlet hose into the motor put a water hose in the radiator and run the water make sure water the water pours out of the block...

the reason its overheating when the air con is on is because the motor has to work overtime to run the air con.. i dare say the motor would still overheat with or without the air con in hot conditions .

what u got is blown-out head gasket.. because of the overheat.. 2/3 way to diagnose,. but the easiest way to find out is .. open your radiator cover make sure there's water in it (fill it up abit) leave it open and have somebody start the engine, is there a small water pops out of the radiator? if yes, congratulation its' a boy.. : )

need to know the car make and model. If the ac condenser is in front of it and it is getting hot due to a failure that could be the cause. Also need to know if it is really overheating or if it's just the guage reading hot. you may e-mail me.
