first of all it would help to know what glue u r using so we dont just recommend the one u r already using. the clay needs to b thoroughly baked b4 gluing, so make sure it is. more than likely it is the glue though. try "zap a gap" great fast setting glue. epoxy type glues that u have to mix are especially good, fast n strong. try "perfect glue 3" ive used that for glass, wood and tile with great results. make sure all the metal parts are clean, wipe em w a little vinegar or rubbing alcohol n let dry. another thing that will help is to make sure there are enough areas for the finding to contact the clay. press the type u will use into the clay just a little so it leaves a slight mark, then it will fit snugly after being baked in the oven. oh, and the glue i mentioned should b available at michaels

Really? Superglue always worked great for me. If you've tried supergluing a few times and it's come apart, you might want to rough up the area with a file before trying again. Good luck!

I use the glue that comes with glue on nails, it's similar to super glue; but, seems to work better

Hey Inkypink,

The site below has glue for you,
it's real sticky and it will do,
to bond everything you need it to,
your research on this is through.
