We read 'The Giver.' Great story, can you think of another story that would be great for my next read? I was thinking 'Catcher in the Rye,' is there anything else you'd come up with? I have all Danielle Steel novels as well. Thank you for your input.

Catcher in the Rye is a good book, so is The Great Gatsby, or Catch 22, also 1984 is a good book :)

If you enjoyed "The Giver" you may enjoy "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. It's a similar, dystopian themed book, but it isn't dark, like a lot of the others ("1984," etc.)

This might not really help you, but I read the giver too! It's a grea book. I read it when I was in 5th grade and well, I LOVED IT!!!!
