Ohio State and Florida played a joke on the nation. Each team traded uniforms before the game.

Does it matter? They showed they didn't belong in there against Florida. Sure they would have beat Notre Dame, probably would have been 41-14 for OSU. I wouldn't be so sure about Michigan and doubt they would have beat USC. Don't know enough about LSU to make a call on that one.

OSU definitely would have beaten Notre Dame, probably would have beaten Michigan, and definitely would have lost to USC and LSU. USC crushed Michigan. What makes you think OSU would have beaten a team that crushed Michigan? As for LSU, Florida beat them but those teams were very evenly matched. I'm not sure Florida would have beaten them again let alone OSU. OSU would have beaten Boise too.

In watching OSU football for 30 years that was the least motivated and worst coached game I have ever seen and I love the Bucks and Tressel. I think they could beat any of the other teams (esp Notre Dame who did not deserve to be in a major bowl) and even give Florida a better run for the money in a rematch. I think for some idiotic reason the Bucks thought they had that game run easily and came into it overconfident and under prepared.

They had quite a bit of time to prepare fot the gators and failed to do so. I don't imagine the outcome would have been any different had they faced another team. Between a lack of offense, Ginn injuring himself early, Gonzales was a no-show, Troy Smith was really bad, and the just plain old "heads in the clouds" attitude, my Buckeyes really stunk up the joint.
Now, let's refrain from ever mentioning THAT game again.
For the NCAA basketball championship, I hope the gators and Buckeyes can match up. It will be sweeeet revenge to keep florida from a consecutive championship while winning one for Ohio State..

I believe they would've beat Notre Dame. But would've lost to Southern Cal. The SEC alone had at least four teams (Florida,Auburn,LSU,and maybe Arkansas) and possibly Georgia that was better .

LSU would be a toss-up. That team was loaded.

they would kill notre dame they already beat michigan and usc would have been no match either considering the 2 teams who beat them LSU however would probally have beaten them since they play top notch talent in the best and toughest conference in college football in the SEC playing in that conference you are battle tested every week.
