there really isn't any specific "normal". theres a wide range for guys and an even wider range for girls.
this is certainly within the "normal" range.
sounds like shes in a fairly sexual phase of her life. If you're the boyfriend, enjoy it. If not, ignore it - theres nothing wrong or unhealthy about it.
only possible negative effects might be: a) if she doesn't get her homework done because shes spending too much time on other things. or b) shes spending so much time with a vibrator that it becomes (temporarily) harder for her to orgasm with a partner (very rare) - even in that case, its a choice she has a a right to make.

let me ask......Is she smiling everyday? I feel that if she knows how to please herself and it makes her feel good then leave her be. Knowing how to please yourself only makes you more experienced on what turns you on and being able to share youself with someone else.
