7 years ago my dad married my now ex step mom and her daughter became my sister. Well 2 years ago my ex step mom divorced my dad and now I haven't seen either my sister or ex step mom. BUT...her daughter is 2 years younger than me. Also my best friend and my angel. I love her forever and can't seem to get her off my mind. I haven't seen her for 2 years and also haven't talked to her since either. There was no goodbye, just one day she was gone. I miss her and I never stop thinking about her. Has anyone ever felt this way before? You love someone so much (esp. sister) and for some reason you can never erase them from my heart. I swear, she's the only person in this world I love more than anything or anyone. Now I'm 16 and she's 14. And I wonder who, where and when, and what she's been up to. Have you ever felt this hopeless?

Why don't you tell Dad how you feel and ask if he'll contact ex-stepmom and see if she'll allow the two of you (you and sis) to have a visit?

Just be aware that stepmom can refuse to allow it. You didn't why they got divorced, but if they just 'disappeared' one day then I'm assuming it probably wasn't the most civil/friendly event.

Sometimes parents forget about how their actions effect their children. Have you talked to your Dad about this ? Think carefully, is there someone that you and your stepsister might have in common ? Perhaps you can find her email on line and open the lines of communication with her. I'll bet she misses you too. Best of luck.

I am sure at some point or another, everyone has. I guess it is up to you to decide how you will handle these feelings. Maybe it teaches you that people you love should always be close in contact. Maybe its that you should always tell people how you feel about them, because you never know.

..good luck is all I can say, and just take it in stride, work your way through these feelings and you will surely learn so much about yourself....

Well you need to talk to her if you love her this much.....you seem like you care about her a lot...so i would just talk to her and get to know her again that would help you and she prolly thinks about you i mean if you were sisters then you must have some kind of bond together...just try that
