I have a GE self cleaning oven that is locked???

I tried to run the self cleaning because we sold our home and was trying to run the cleaning cycle before we have to move out in 6 days. After about 1/2 hour I saw flames coming from inside and quickly turned it off. N ow the door is locked, Any ideas on how to unlock it? I swicthed the time on the clock and that didn't work.

We had a GE self clean and it would not open until the oven was fully cooled down. How long ago did this happen?

try unpluging the oven

as the other person mentioned you need to wait for it to cool down.
