Gee, that translates into about $30 in American and it can be ordered from Barnes and Noble or amazon.com for about half that. It seems like way too much. Try one of the on-line books services. You won't need to pay top price for a first edition, all of those books that come out in June or July will be first editions, and there will be millions of them!

I would but I am a really big fan and collect first editions of most books that I can. 16 quid is a little high though I just bought the Goblet of fire first edition with spelling mistakes etc for a fiver unread from a charity shop. If you are trying to make a profit though I think you will wait a long time to see it. Look on eBay for comparable books. I think it will be a few years before these are valuable.

The intial print run for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince would have been absolutely huge so an unsigned first edition will be worth no more than (and probably not as much as) the cover price. So no, not a good idea.

I don't really know, I wouldn't have thought so, I own first edition half blood prince and order of the phoenix books and there are so many first editions sold I wouldn't have thought they were that valuable and with their being so many and with so many people wanting to keep them in good condition in case they are worth something one day I really don't think they'll appreciate.
on the other hand I may be wrong and if you can get it now for sixteen quid, maybe it might be worth the investment some day.

The trailer is somewhat magnificent, i understand! that's the ideal Harry Potter trailer I even have ever considered, if no longer the ideal trailer. It makes me so excited, yet extra upset the movie exchange into moved. (To think of, it could have come out so quickly!) The Ron Weasley/Lavendar Brown kiss gave me the impact it does not be a cheesy as i presumed, the final scene the place Hermione Granger hits Harry Potter enable me understand there will be some humour, I have been given to work out that Draco Malfoy has an excellent eviler part we can see, and so lots extra! As for this "this 365 days" area, i do no longer understand. many anybody is thinking approximately that. i'm purely hoping it wasn't a mistake!

Buying a first edition Harry Potter book at any price is worth it. The book will be worth a small fortune to collectors in 15 years and you'll make a packet selling it at auction.

Not really. The first edition will probably be the biggest first ediiton in publishing history to date. Not going to be rare at all. If you order from Amazon or Play.Com or get it from Waterstone's it's very likely to be a first edition.
If you could somehow get it signed though...that would be worth something.

harry potter? theres like millions out there. i probably wouldnt. especially if it's on ebay, if thats all your going to pay for it on ebay, then thats how popular it is rite now because your the highest bidder. but who knows in the future might be worth a little more.
