I'm thinking about going to college in British Colombia, Canada, what schools are the best?

I've heard that university of british columbia is good, but i'd like a somewhat smaller school, but still near vancouver. i'm not really into liberal arts schools.

How near is near? If you mean near enough to commute into downtown Vancouver whenever you want you might think about doing your first two years at Douglas College. Another alternative would be to go to UBC's smaller campus in Kelowna, UBC Okanagan. It is about a 5 hour drive or a very short plane ride from Vancouver.
