There's also a Ska- style Reggae.. I know of very many old skool English( the best '80 peAce punk ever... My opinion that is) That has Ska albums too.. Makes me wanna dance to some!!!

Ska was sort of re-born in the UK when punk came on the scene in the 70s. That's about all it has to do with Punk, it's roots are from the caribbean.

*first answer dance* Okay, if you've ever listened to No Doubt, their genre used to be Ska. I wouldn't exactly call it punk though. Avril Lavigne is more punk. Or at least thats what I say.

ska is a subgenre from regge and i think its short for skater and for the person who put that avril is punk, you dont know wut real punk is
