Her dad doesnt like me?

i have this best friend and we have been friends for 4 years now and up till about 2 months ago i have got along great with her family her parents liked me my parents liked her our parents hang out together but then recently her dad decides that he doesnt like me and that he doesnt trust me and he also said im to old for her to hang out with her i dont know what to do i need my best friend but her dad doesnt like me? the thing that bothers me is her dad still acts like he likes me and still hangs out with my parents but he just isnt letting us hang out ?? im so lost i need my best friend hellp

If your parents are friends with her parents then have your parents talk to her parents.

well the worst reply you are going to get is talk to her and ask her (which might be a good thing if she is a really good friend) second well whatever her dad says if she is willing to be your friend then you guys should definetly stick it out. you seem like a nice friend if you care so much. if she really considers you the greatest friends in ehr life then well why should it matter what her dad thinks? agian i repeat talk to her which is something everyone hates. does she have other friends that she cna turn to you if you have to leave her because of her dad? think, willshe miss you? will she regret it? will she want you back? has she ever told u that she really loves u? has she told u that u r one of the only people she could do a anything for? well i could go on and on here but i will stop. i really hope it works out between u both.

Well, just try to be as nice and considerate as possible. Maybe go out of your way to help him with something, or when u see him, shake his hand. Show him that u r a caring person. Most likely this is occurring because he is protecting his daughter. U just need to show him that u r a sensible person and will take good care of his daughter. I hop ethis helps and good luck! your too close to his baby girl. dont blame dad, you'll understand one day when YOUR baby girl is growing up and this older guys hanging around. Let the girl breathe some.

OMG that is terrible. Well her dad is being a big jerk. I think you should talk to her mom about it or tell your parents, hopefully they can talk to him and you can work things out

He probably thinks that youll try to make a move on her and doesnt want his little girl dating anyone and is afraid you to might start dating

The dad seems kind of weird to me. ..but make sure you are a positive influence, and try to prove to her dad that you can be trusted.

Maybe its not your friendship he's worried about. It maybe something about your charactor he has discovered. Maybe you should ask him?
