Why doesn't anybody like the Longcut ?? They are one of the best bands in the world, their live gigs are incredible, they're better than Joy Division, but they can't sell out a single small gig in their hometown.
They have a great album, cool videos and are technically excellent. I realise the singer can't sing, but that's par for the course with Indie bands.
Check out the band's own site - the first on the list of videos is great (Tried and tested method), and there's a cool live version of 1 song on Myspace (Idiot check). These are not even their best ones - try downloading Dead Man from a file sharing service.

Don't bother unless you're into experimental indie / alternative / Manchester - you'll be wasting your time, unless you like very cool videos - the first one I mentionned is a great video even if you don't like the song.
