Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse really is like a dream! Not to mention a great steal at only $5-6!! It's definitely long-lasting...just touch up with some powder (loose/pressed, your choice), or keep Clean&Clear blotting sheets at hand, which will make you look fresh and radiant- like you just put your makeup on (my choice)!!! To cover flaws, just build coverage lightly, until you're satisfied. Or simply wear a concealer on top (L'Oreal AirWear and Neutrogena smoothing stick both work great!). Hope that helps :)

If you're near a Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio, they make a water based make-up that is lovely, sells for about $15...hypoallergetic, no chemicals, pure.
Perhaps a little less expensive, you might try Physician's formula liquid make-up.
One of the best kept secrets of makeup artists, is something called NARS, a cover up type of erase through Sephora, but it sells for bout $20, but very, very nice for dry skin and covering up bleamishs.
Hope this helps...

MAC Studiofix works wonders if you have acne or a blotchy face, but finding a color that matches is hard and they are also expensive (about 26 dollars), but it's worth it.
