i think kids are allowed in public with parental supervision, i am 13 which i would still call a kid and go to the mall alone, the movies alone, and many other places, i do not go out alone ever though i am always with my friends and i never go out without a parent at night. Yes young kids shouldnt be alone because they are not responsible. There is danger for kidnappings, and really what are younger kids going to do alone in public, they are not normally shopping alone because again they are not responsible and wouldnt be able to spend money the proper ways in some cases. Some kids are responsible and they do go out alone because they are mature enough to do so I am sorry if this didnt answer your question correctly but this is what i think

Simple - safety for the children. There are too many things that could happen to the child.
Also, kids themselves can do silly stuff that causes problems for other people and for themselves.
Parental or at least responsible ADULT supervision is essential today.

because u could get kidnapped, molested, killed. so many things i could think of. but i am a teen, and i cant go alot of places by myslef, and i am kinda thankful for tht because it gives me this sense of security. on the other hand, it can get kinda annoying if ur with this guy u like alot and he likes you and he wants to ask you out and give u a kisss, but ur parent is right there. hope this helps. just trust the first answer. the second one was totally made up, true in my case though. but still, go with the first one.

Because they can get kidnapped or their parents might think that they are doing innapropriate things....trust me parents can pull any stupid resaon out of their butt and turn it into a lagitimate reason, or at least make it sound like one...
