A Senate aide was arrested Monday on charges of bringing a firearm into the Russell Senate building, U.S. Capitol police told NBC News.

Kimberly Schneider, a spokeswoman for the police, said the aide worked for Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va. He entered the building at approximately 10:50 a.m., she said, and was in possession of an unregistered firearm. He did not have a license to carry a pistol in Washington, according to Schneider.

the place do you think of those unlawful weapons come from? Do you suspect that the black industry has its very own gun production unit? That they merely make weapons illegally handy out to criminals? What happens is that a citizen buys a gun, and later resells it devoid of bothering to examine the historical past of the guy he's merchandising to, because of fact this is not required by potential of regulation that he does. i'm no longer advocating getting rid of weapons from voters legally allowed to hold them. What i'm advocating is that we require historical past tests each time a gun is offered. that would desire to comprise from the production unit, the gun shops, the gun shows, and merely own sales. It could be shown that the historical past examine grew to become into carried out. Seung Hui Cho (Virginia Tech bloodbath) have been given his gun legally. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris (Columbine) even have been given their weapons legally. All 3 have been given their weapons at gun shows, and no historical past examine grew to become into required of any of them. upload-on: you're are, for sure, applicable; the ameliorations have been made. I additionally understand a Derek Klebold at paintings, and merely have been given the names blended up. thank you.

I think the word you're looking for is democrat, not democrats plural. It was only one guy. You can't say "The republicans are doing a horrible job with Iraq", if its only Bush that is messing up.

Ahh, typical liberal hypocrisy: Do as we say, not as we do. Maybe Webb was going to kill himself right on the floor out of shame for writing his pedo-porn

They want gun taken away from you not them.
Like Rosie doesn't want people to have guns expect her body guards.

Similar how Al Gore wants you to live in cave but doesn't want to change his life style over global warming.
